December is here and with it came the month in which many people make their luggage in order to travel abroad.
Modern technology to check in a few seconds the passenger identity and the travel documentation makes possible to issue the passport in the same day and in almost four hours, affirm spokespersons of Immigration.
Also this entity has decentralized its services. Apart from the main office in Breña (Av. España 730), it has another one in Miraflores (in the basement of Ovalo Gutiérrez) and in Salamanca (block 11 of Av. Los Quechuas). The main office in Breña gives service from Monday to Sunday from 8:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m, and the other offices works from Monday to Friday, in the same hours.
Immigration also has a stand in Jorge Chávez airport in order to resolve emergency cases like the sudden passport loss. The document is issued in 20 minutes with the air ticket presentation, ID copy and a payment of S/. 37 in Banco de la Nación agency located at the airport. If the passport expired, the passenger must pay S/. 33 for renewal. An important requirement is the updated payment of fines for not voting. If a passport with visa is lost, the client must present a police report in Immigration for procedure.
The webpage of Inmmigration
